Unashamed is a bold way of saying “Not Ashamed”. God has been revealing to me where I struggle with shame that I’ve been carrying for awhile. He is starting to reveal that he took ALL of that away on the cross. We should not be weighed down with sin. He has been whispering to me about opportunities I have missed of bringing others to the kingdom due to being ashamed in not having the right approach or the right words to share.
Jesus took away our shame by enduring the shameful death on the cross for us.
By bearing this ultimate shame, HE “traded” it for honor and righteousness, freeing believers from the guilt and paralysis of their past failures.
This sacrifice is seen as a complete and permanent solution to human shame, replacing it with HIS own Dignity and Grace.
Do you ever find yourself at times ashamed of the Gospel and your beliefs?
Do you hide your faith due to fear of social judgement or desires to “fit in”?
Come and let’s take these steps together as we walk through this weekend and become BOLD in speaking about Jesus and being Unashamed about what he has done for us and sharing about his love!
My prayer is that each one of us will receive a life changing God moment from this weekend.
