Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.
I believe the Lord chose these verses for this weekend, first I will not be shaken to encourage you young men to be rooted in the Word, so when life's trials come and they will come, you my young brothers will not be shaken because you will know the Lord is right beside you.
Second Runners take your mark ,in my minds eye I see us at this training camp preparing for life's race, where you will receive the directions you need to stay on track and not be tripped up by those things that might hinder us from reaching our goal. After you have completed the weekend the race begins. I pray that you will collect the directions you will need to endure the race, and everyone of you finish well.
