My prayer for this weekend is that we will all come to realize how fun
and real our God is. There is only One way to the Father, and that is
through Jesus Christ. He is "The Man!" Most of you have heard my
testimony, and I know that without Jesus in my life I would be a mess. My
vision for this weekend would be that each candidate and team member see and
feel how Awesome it is to be with Christ. Each of us bring something
special to the weekend and I pray that God will have His way with each of
us. This is His weekend. In Ephesians the Bible says "It was He who gave
some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some
to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so
that the body of Christ may be built up..." For this period in time, God's
plan is for you to serve these candidates and each other the way that God
would serve. WOW! He chose YOU and I for this awesome weekend! It will be
"Off the Chain!!!"
I have one request as you begin to prepare your hearts to serve Him on this
weekend. The weekend verse is 1 Tim 2:5. Please read it and also read
Ephesians Chapter 4. Meditate on God's word and ask Him to teach you
something in these scriptures as you read. I love you guys and I can't wait
to serve you and the candidates on VNTB #3!
